Hello! I am a graphic designer and letterpress printer. Letterpress is an antique form of printmaking that combines hand-mixed colors and varied textures for a charming, unique effect. In February 2010, I took a letterpress workshop in Brooklyn and instantly fell in love. With a passion for typography and design, and a desire to create handmade work, I am intrigued and inspired by the letterpress process and printmaking as fine art. Using vintage wood block type (each letter set by hand) and colorful hand-mixed ink, I began printing greeting cards. Soon after, I began accepting requests for custom work. Because of the joy and success from these projects, I made a bold move and left my job as Assistant Art Director at Martha Stewart Living to pursue my adventurous and entrepreneurial dreams. I spent autumn 2011 working on organic farms in the south of France, and the spring and summer 2012 hiking the entire Appalachian Trail. I now run a small design and print studio from my home in Asheville, North Carolina creating greeting cards and custom designed and printed material for clients. Please contact me for inquires, thank you!
